This traditional box pleated white alb with 9” ornate lace edging is reminiscent of the Middle Ages when men and women of devout faith tailored church apparel by hand. The lace contains the ancient monogram IHS formed from the first three letters - Iota, Eta and Sigma - of the Greek word for Jesus: IHSOUS. The letters also represent the phrase Iesous Hominum Salvator: Jesus, savior of man.
Made of 100% smooth weave polyester this alb drapes down beautifully and includes side pockets.
